Dog Collar with Chain – Hunter Aalborg Black
Martingale Collars are extremely popular for dog trainers since they give the human more control over their dog without the harsh choking effect which could damage a dog’s delicate trachea. This simple and functional Martingale collar from the popular AALBORG series is ideal for everyday dog training. It simply pulls over the head and hangs loosely around the dog’s neck. Once tension is applied to the leash, the collar tightens up to the maximum tension stop. The collar should therefore fit in such a way that when it is pulled tight, it is no tighter than a normal collar without a pull stop. The dog should be able to breathe freely and feel comfortable at all times.
The Aalborg Martingale leather dog collar can be used solo or in combination with the matching harness and leash from the series. Just like all the other articles in the AALBORG series, the collar is made by hand in Germany from the finest cowhide leather and has without question earned a permanent place in the modern dog’s wardrobe.

Measuring Guide
The easiest method of measuring the circumference of the neck of your dog is by using a flexible measuring tape placed about midway down the neck. The tape should be fairly tight around the neck without actually restricting the dog. The specifications for adjusting our collars and neckbands always slightly overlap. This ensures that you are not forced to use the first or last hole to find the optimal fitting.
Should the circumference of the neck of your dog be at the upper end of the measurements specified then you can alternatively choose the next larger size. This is especially recommended for dogs that are still growing.
