Sureflap’s original Microchip Cat Door is now ten years old and it is still as popular as ever. Designed as a drop-in replacement for many existing cat doors, once installed, the Microchip Cat Door will work quietly in the background, giving your cat exclusive access and turning your home into a secure environment.
This cat flap has been designed to recognise either the microchip already implanted in your cat or the SureFlap RFID Collar Tag (sold separately), allowing access to your pet whilst keeping out animal intruders. Your home becomes a secure environment for your pet, leading to a happier, more relaxed animal. Operation of the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap couldn’t be simpler. Once the batteries have been inserted, the flap can be put into learn mode. The next cat to pass through the flap from either direction, or to put its head into the tunnel with its nose up to the door, will have its microchip number stored in the memory. Now the cat flap is ready to install and will unlock whenever your cat wants to come into the house. Multiple cats are no problem. Up to 32 cats can be programmed into the flap at the same time – more than enough for most people’s needs!

Installation
Designed as a drop in replacement for many existing cat doors. The two part construction makes it easy to install. How it Works
- Programme your cat’s microchip at the touch of a button – Your cat’s microchip is then permanently stored in memory
- Install the cat flap in a door, window or wall – Accessories available for window and wall installations
- Intruder animals can’t get in – The cat flap remains locked for unwelcome cats and wildlife
- The cat flap unlocks when your pet approaches – It reads the unique code on your pet’s microchip or collar tag

- Selective entry – any animal can exit. The microchip reader is located on the outside of the cat flap only
- Stores up to 32 pet identities in memory. Remembers all registered cats even when the batteries are removed
- Low battery indicator light flashes red when the batteries start running low giving you plenty of time to change them
- Up to 12 months battery life (4 x AA batteries – not included). A low battery indicator will flash when the batteries need changing
- Manual lock stops your cat leaving or entering the house. Set to in-only to enable your cat to come indoors without being able to get out again
